Preview: Chelsea vs Manchester United

Manchester United will be looking at moving back into the top four when they take on Chelsea in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Saturday night.

The Reds go into the game sitting just one point behind Chelsea in fifth place knowing that victory over the West London side would take the Reds back above their rivals and into fourth place.

Cristiano Ronaldo will miss the clash after being left out of the squad following his walk out against Spurs midweek whilst Anthony Martial will also miss the fixture through injury.

After a disappointing 0-0 draw with Newcastle last weekend Manchester United responded with arguably their finest performance of the season so far against Spurs on Wednesday night. Right from the off United were brilliant and truth be told looked on another level to Tottenham.

It was Ten Hag’s best showing thus far and its vital we keep the winning momentum going against Chelsea on Saturday night.

Chelsea have endured a good season thus far and currently find themselves sitting above United in the Premier League table in fourth place. The Blues have enjoyed a successful run of form under new head coach Graham Potter who replaced former boss Thomas Tuchel back in September and in order for the Reds to leave the Bridge with all three points we will undoubtedly have to be at our very best.

United don’t particularly have a great record at Stamford Bridge but despite that and Chelsea’s impressive form this is a game I am confident United can win. We are heading in the right direction under Ten Hag and its clear the players are now getting used to his methods and if we can turn up and play like we did against Spurs midweek then I am confident we can take all three points.

Prediction: Chelsea 1-2 Manchester United
