Erik ten Hag has asked fans to continue building a ‘good spirit’ in the stadium as Manchester United enter a hectic schedule of fixtures.
United face Omonia in the Europa League on October 13 in their first game at Old Trafford since September 8.
The Reds overturned the Greek side 3-2 last Thursday thanks to a brace from Marcus Rashford and a goal from Anthony Martial.
In the Premier League, United went on a four-game win streak, defeating rivals Arsenal and Liverpool along the way, before suffering an unfortunate loss to Manchester City on October 2.
They didn’t let the match keep them down for too long though, as they went on to beat Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
Ten Hag is keen on keeping the spirits high surrounding the club, as fans are feeling significantly more confident in the team lately than in recent seasons under different managers.
When speaking pre-match to MUTV, he said: “We have to build something here: togetherness between fans and players. We want a real good spirit in the stadium, we have to build that for the coming days as well.”
