(Video) Roy Keane names two Man United players in top three Premier League players of all-time

Manchester United are the most successful team in the Premier League era and Roy Keane is widely considered one of the division’s all-time greats.

After a topsy-turvy spell as a manager and coach, Keane has opted to feature on broadcast and can often be seen covering United games on Sky Sports.

Speaking on Monday Night Football earlier this week, the Ireland legend was asked to name his top three Premier League players of all time and unsurprisingly, he named two United players in his list.

“Of all time? I’ve certainly gone for Ronaldo,” Keane told Football Daily when he was asked about the best Premier League players, as seen above.

“But I was looking at players in the Premier League, I’ve gone (for) Ronaldo, Rooney and Thierry Henry – they’re the three I thought were brilliant players.”

Keane shared the pitch with some magnificent footballers over his 12 years at Old Trafford but he only played with Ronaldo and Rooney for a couple of seasons at the twilight of his career.

The pair went on to record legendary careers, with Ronaldo now viewed as one of the best players to ever play the game.
