Manchester United were offered the chance to sign Napoli winger Hirving Lozano during the summer.
Recent reports have suggested that Lozano is a target for United, however, it is not as straight forward as that.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano offers his insight on Lozano’s situation in Naples and claims the Mexico international was offered to United.
“I’m told Hirving Lozano was offered to Manchester United, nothing else,” Romano told Caught Offside. “They never made any bid to Napoli.
“The situation is really quiet, he’s happy at Napoli now; I think his price tag could be around €20-25m.”
United get offered hundreds of players every year. Lozano was just another!
