Anthony Martial was on the pitch for less than two minutes before giving Manchester United the lead against Omonia Nicosia.
The Red Devils were losing 1-0 at half-time after getting caught by a counter-attack in the first half. United were caught with few players at the back after losing possession in the final third.
Martial replaced Bruno Fernandes and minutes later made it 2-1 after linking up brilliantly with Marcus Rashford, who scored United’s first goal after coming off the bench.

There was no stopping Martial once he got the ball from Rashford. Omonia’s defenders couldn’t get close to him and he made an instant impact off the bench.
The Frenchman came off the bench against Manchester City and added two goals to his tally for the season. Now that he is back from injury, Erik ten Hag needs to put him into the starting eleven against Everton at the weekend.
