Antony’s strike versus Arsenal has been voted Manchester United’s Goal of the Month for September.
Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho were also in the running for the award – but it was our new signing that came out on top, with a fantastic goal on his Manchester United debut.
The Brazilian was picked out thanks to a through ball from Rashford before firing United into an early lead against Arsenal. It set the team up for a crucial 3-1 win to destroy Arsenal’s unbeaten record in the Premier League.
It was a superb team goal.

Antony’s strike collected 39% of the votes and we hope to see more moments of brilliance from the winger in October.
Sancho won the Goal of the Month award in August for his strike against Liverpool.
