Manchester United linked Jude Bellingham wishes to join Spanish giants

The Jude Bellingham saga is beginning to gather pace.

It’s possible that Manchester United will target the Borussia Dortmund and England star next summer, but it sounds like several Europe’s top clubs are circling the 19-year-old.

Marca claim Bellingham is taking steps towards a move to Real Madrid and suggest he has been made a priority target for next summer. The report adds that he wishes to join Los Blancos at the end of the season.

United tried to sign the youngster before he joined the Bundesliga club and they have retained their interested ever since, with Bryan Robson recently revealing that Sir Alex Ferguson was convinced Bellingham would sign for United when he left Birmingham City.

Bellingham impresses against Germany in UEFA Nations League

Bellingham was in the England squad that reached a first major tournament for 55 years at last year’s Euro 2020, but he didn’t get a lot of time on the pitch. The World Cup later this year will be different.

Bellingham started in midfield alongside Declan Rice and lasted 91 minutes before being replaced by Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson.

The Dortmund star racked up the most successful passes (41), passes in the final third (17), shots (3) and successful duels (8).

Bellingham made his England debut in 2020, but Gareth Southgate and co know the sky is the limit for this talent. That is why United and so many other clubs want him next summer.
