Manchester United are up and running in their second Europa League game of the season as they face FC Sheriff in Moldova.
Erik ten Hag’s side are already up against the wall in their Europa League group after losing the opening game against Real Sociedad last week and need three points against Sheriff.
Jadon Sancho has been one of United’s best players this season but the winger was left out of Gareth Southgate’s England squad earlier on Thursday – an omission he has now responded to by scoring a great goal.

United dominated possession early on and Sancho kept his cool after being played in by Christian Eriksen, feinting past one player before slotting the ball in the corner.
United will now look to kick on and score another in this game to give themselves the best possible opportunity to claim a stranglehold of the group standings.
