Manchester United among 3 Premier League clubs linked with Jude Bellingham

It sounds like Manchester United will be part of the Jude Bellingham saga for the foreseeable future.

The summer transfer window has only ended but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is still busy providing us all with the latest news.

According to Romano’s latest Caught Offside column, Manchester United want to sign Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund, despite the midfielder being heavily linked with a move to Liverpool.

He wrote: “Honestly, it was never close between Man United and Bellingham in the past.

“They were interested alongside many other clubs including Premier League sides and Juventus. But he only wanted Borussia Dortmund as the perfect step for his future – in my opinion, a very smart call.”

The England midfielder is an essential part of the Dortmund team, despite being aged just 19, as he has played in all six of their Bundesliga matches this season. Bellingham also scored in their Champions League opener against FC Copenhagen.

Now we have Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg claim that United will have competition from Liverpool, while Melissa Reddy warns that Manchester City will be interested too.
