(Video) Tyrell Malacia highlights difference between Eredivisie and Premier League

Manchester United are hosting one of the most storied Premier League fixtures on Sunday as Arsenal make the trip to Old Trafford, with Mikel Arteta’s men chasing six straight wins.

United are also in good form, with victory over the Gunners extending their win-streak to four games. United have not managed that feat since the 2020/21 season.

Tyrell Malacia has been one of United’s standout players so far this season, dislodging Luke Shaw from the line-up after just two games.

The Dutchman arrived from Feyenoord over the summer to become Erik ten Hag’s first signing at the club and speaking ahead of Sunday’s match, he has outlined the difference between playing in the Eredivisie and the Premier League.

“It’s another big game,” Malacia told Sky Sports ahead of the game, as seen above. “I played against Liverpool so against Arsenal, again a big game.

“The difference is the intensity. People are strong here, you play against the best players. Yeah, love it.”

Ten Hag has been questioned for scouring the Dutch league over the summer but thus far, none of the players he has brought have had any difficulties with adapting to a new league.

That may come down the line but it bodes well for the future that Malacia, along with Lisandro Martinez, has slotted in perfectly. Of course, it also helps that Ten Hag has signed players he is familiar with.
