(Photo) Casemiro poses wearing new Manchester United kits for the first time

Manchester United have released photos of Casemiro wearing our new three kits for the first time.

The Brazilian defensive midfielder posed for some promotional work whilst sporting the new home, away and third kit after completing his move from Real Madrid to Manchester United.

I would rather see him out on the training ground this week, but this is all part of why we call the transfer window ‘silly season’.

The process of a transfer these days is dragged out. Remember when Adidas held up announcing Paul Pogba’s return because of some PR exercise they were working on?

On top of that, United are trying to tempt people into buying the new jerseys — and some will want Casemiro on the back.

Casemiro could make Manchester United debut vs Southampton

Meanwhile, there is some actual good news, with the Manchester Evening News reporting that Casemiro has been granted a work permit and could be in line to make his debut against Southampton on Saturday.

It remains to be seen if Erik ten Hag will throw him straight into the line-up this week, but I suspect he will become a key player in the team after the international break.

I can’t wait to see what he can bring to the Premier League.
