Manchester United transfer target Antony has sent a message to former Ajax teammate Lisandro Martinez under an Instagram post celebrating our recent 2-1 win over Liverpool.
Antony missed Ajax’s game at the weekend against Sparta Rotterdam and it is understood that he has been asked to train alone after making his intentions to leave very clear.
Furthermore, Ajax manager Alfred Schreuder admitted that Antony had told him he wasn’t 100% ready to play in the match.
The saga took another turn on Monday night when the 22-year-old and his agent, Emerson Santos, made it clear to their Instagram followers that they were watching United take on Liverpool, as per the Manchester Evening News.
Antony continues to tease Manchester United fans over transfer
Antony has now provided another update on social media to tease United fans.
In an Instagram reel which was shared by Martinez, the defender celebrates our recent win, along with the caption: “#aboutlastnight. This is Manchester United.”

Antony and Martinez were teammates at Ajax and will want to form a reunion at Old Trafford this summer. Time is running out to get a deal over the line.
