Manchester United consider Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic on loan

Manchester United are being linked with a move for Chelsea winger Christian Pulisic.

That’s one I can really see Joel Glazer getting behind. Not because he’s one of the star players in the USA national team, but there appears to be an opportunity to sign the former Borussia Dortmund sensation on loan.

The penny pinching has been clear to see this summer.

According to The Athletic, Manchester United are considering taking USA captain Pulisic on loan, but the players has been approached by Newcastle United, Juventus and Atletico Madrid this summer.

Andy Mitten reports: “Pulisic, 23, has been frustrated with his lack of starts under Thomas Tuchel and wants to play more minutes ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar later this year.”

The report also states that Chelsea are willing to listen to loan offers and that Pulisic would prefer to join United.

Cristiano Ronaldo to Chelsea

The leading bookmakers seem to think Ronaldo is heading to Stamford Bridge, so since we are attracted to one of their attacking players, we could see some sort of agreement reached between the clubs. There’s no point keeping a 37-year-old who wants out.

It’s early days yet but Mitten suggests that Pulisic is already sold on the idea of joining United.

Makes a difference from the other stars we’ve targeted this summer. Not talking about any Dutch midfielder in particular.
