Manchester United target La Liga duo Casemiro and Joao Felix

Manchester United look desperate in the transfer market.

Truth be told, the club rarely looks organised in the transfer market, opting to use a scattergun approach to landing targets year after year.

One minute we’re working on a deal for Adrien Rabiot and a week later everything collapses, as per the Manchester Evening News.

This summer they have chased Frenkie de Jong for over 11-weeks, but he is still a Barcelona player, with Chelsea reportedly waiting for the Netherlands international to decide on his future.

According to Marca, United chiefs are in Madrid looking at different options, including Real Madrid star Casemiro and Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix.

Both players would be improvements on the players we currently start in midfield, although it is still disappointing that the board have thus far been unable to land Ten Hag’s prime target.

I’m all ears if it means we don’t have to watch Scott McTominay and Fred together in midfield.
