Manchester United hit yet another low on Saturday evening as they were played off the park by Brentford – the London club’s 20th home game in Premier League history.
After just two games, United’s season already looks unsalvageable and it’s not surprising that after the game, Cristiano Ronaldo was among the players to not thank the traveling support.
In pictures captured by James Robson, a journalist present at the Brentford Community Stadium, Ronaldo was seen angrily walking off the pitch after the final whistle.
Ronaldo exchanged handshakes with Mitchell van der Gaag and Steve McClaren but ignored Erik ten Hag, who failed to offer as much as a glance Ronaldo’s way.

Ronaldo asked to leave the club last summer and the start of this season will have done little to change his mind. In truth, many supporters would grant his wish if they were in control.
