The Premier League are set to introduce water breaks for all domestic matches this weekend due to England experiencing hot temperatures.

According to BBC News, the MET Office recently issued a four-day weather warning throughout parts of England and Wales for ‘extreme heat’ this week.

Premier League fixtures will go ahead as planned but with some alterations.

The players will be allowed to take water breaks throughout these games, as per the Daily Mail, as England looks to take grip of a heatwave.

If you’re fortunate enough to have an away ticket for Saturday’s game against Brentford, please make sure to use sun cream and keep fully hydrated. We’re sure the latter won’t be a problem in most cases!
