Manchester United are reportedly keeping track of Celtic full-back Josip Juranovic.
The Croatia has been labeled a target for United and Chelsea, as per 90min, but we can’t claim to know a great deal about the player.
‘90min also understands that Juranovic is on Manchester United’s radar as a possible solution to their right-back issues.’
It is also stated that Celtic would look for a minimum fee of £15m if they were to allow Juranovic to leave.
The Red Devils have already made three signings this summer, including left-back Tyrell Malacia, but it would make sense if Erik ten Hag made a separate full-back signing for the opposite flank.
I don’t think Ten Hag can fully trust Diogo Dalot at right-back, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s days at United should be numbered.
Juranovic is not a player who will break the bank, but he only joined Celtic last year and has a contract running until May 2026.
While Ten Hag should be looking to offload Wan-Bissaka, an upgrade is needed for Dalot.
Meanwhile, reports suggest United have reignited their interest in right-back Max Aarons.
I think I would be more surprised if the transfer window shut and United didn’t sign a new right-back.
