Eager to right the wrongs of last season, ten Hag will know that kicking off his reign with a win is vital to building some early momentum.
However, the big news before kick-off has been that star striker Cristiano Ronaldo will be starting from the substitute’s bench.
Ahead of kick-off, which is scheduled for 2 p.m (UK time), the Portuguese five-time Ballon d’or winner received a frosty welcome back from the club’s home fans.

Ten hag he is the worse if he continues in MU -no chance of the team to continue playing in Premier league
People say shit always. Manchester was playing worse than their opponents before Ronaldo came in and nobody blamed Ronaldo. Immediately Ronaldo came on and didn’t rescue them from their two goals deficit, suddenly, all fingers begin to point at him. I think Ronaldo is just targeted.
Ronaldo wasn’t part of the team on the field who conceded two goals so I don’t understand why people still blame him. People need to start taking responsibility for their actions and stop looking for people to blame. It’s becoming too annoying.
