Anthony Martial has had a good pre-season to date, but he will be disappointed to now have added to his tally for the summer against Atletico Madrid.
The France international started up front in the 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid on Saturday.
He had two great chances to scoring in the opening minutes.
Due to his inconsistency in recent years, I think people are bound to question if he is the solution to United’s centre forward woes if Cristiano Ronaldo decides to leave.
In the clip below, Martial breaks forward but sends his effort over the bar.

These wasted chances are forgiven during pre-season; however, Ten Hag wasn’t happy with the fact we didn’t score a single goal despite creating plenty of opportunities for our forward players to hit the back of the net.
Martial must do better against Brighton next week.
