‘Happy to have played my first minutes’: Eriksen makes United debut

Christian Eriksen made his Manchester United debut in a pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid.

Joao Felix scored the only goal in the 87th minute as Atletico Madrid won 1-0.

Even though we lost the match, Erik ten Hag will be able to take positives from United’s performance.

One of them being Eriksen’s performance.

The Dane came on in the 69th minute as he replaced Anthony Martial.

Eriksen showed his class by creating multiple chances for United’s forwards. This is something Ten Hag expects him to do throughout the season.

After making his debut, Eriksen took to Instagram and posted the following message: “This looks good and feels good! Wonderful reception from the fans here in Norway! Happy to have played my first minutes [for] Man United.”
