(Video) Chris Armas talks about his time at Manchester United

Former Manchester United assistant Chris Armas has done an interview about his brief spell at Old Trafford.

The American coach was hired by Ralf Rangnick in December to support him in the short-term role.

He will be remembered for wearing his Air pods during matches, but it is interest to hear his take on what the team lacked last season and how he expects things to eventually take shape under Erik ten Hag.

Armas left United at the end of last season when Rangnick departed prematurely.

It is clear from the video below that Armas was blown away by the high standards in the Premier League.

He also talks about pushing our way into that top four, after finishing sixth last season.

Although Armas was heavily linked with the assistant manager’s job at Leeds United, The Athletic claims he turned down an offer due to personal reasons.

Fellow American Jesse Marsch wanted to bring him to Elland Road.
