At least Red Bull Salzburg’s social media intern has a sense of humour.
The Austrian outfit took to Twitter after their 1-0 win over Liverpool in a pre-season friendly to boast about their 19-year-old goalscorer, Benjamin Sesko, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United.
Sesko scored the winner and RB Salzburg took to Twitter to announce an asking price for the young striker’s services.
They initially responded to Fabrizio Romano’s tweet which suggested United are well informed on Sesko’s situation, by stating that they would want €300 million as well as Bruno Fernandes.
Now they want €1 billion, Fernandes AND Fred the Red (not the Brazilian)!
Update: We now want 1 billion, Bruno and Fred the Red for Sesko. https://t.co/xgha9v16b3
