(Photo) Harry Maguire visits Manchesterplatz to pay tribute to Munich Air Disaster victims

Manchester United captain Harry Maguire is currently in Munich ahead of the Germany vs England game this evening.

On Sunday evening, Maguire showed some class by visiting the remembrance Manchesterplatz in Munich that remembers all the victims that died in the Munich Air Disaster.

Gareth Southgate’s side have been preparing for their Nations League clash against Germany, but Maguire took some time to pay his respects and I’m sure it will be appreciated by United fans.

On 6 February 1958, the darkest day in Manchester United’s history, 23 people suffered fatal injuries in the disaster.

Sir Matt Busby’s team had been travelling back from a European Cup tie against Red Star Belgrade when the plane stopped in Germany to refuel.

The aircraft crashed on its third attempts to take off from Munich airport.

Maguire is expected to start for England tonight.
