Fabrizio Romano names club interested in Man United’s Wan-Bissaka

Manchester United are expected to offload several first-team players this summer.

The club is set to undergo a major rebuild under the guidance of new manager Erik Ten Hag and fans would do well to prepare for wholesale changes – both in and out.

One player looking the likeliest to depart Old Trafford this summer is right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Our friends over at CaughtOffside were the first ones to report that Wan-Bissaka has been made available this summer but United’s decision-makers’ desire to recoup as much as possible is making a permanent sale difficult.

Now, the latest in the ongoing saga comes from leading transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who has reported that Premier League outfit and Wan-Bissaka’s former club Crystal Palace have been the first to enquiry about the English defender.

What has Fabrizio Romano said about Man United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka?

Writing in his latest CaughtOffside column, the Italian journalist said: “Wan-Bissaka expects to have a direct meeting with new manager Erik ten Hag soon to discuss his future, but within the club the expectation is for him to leave in the summer.

“Manchester United will evaluate the proposals: Crystal Palace have taken information, but only for a loan move. Man United are also expecting other clubs in the coming weeks, but certainly, Wan-Bissaka has a chance to leave the club as well as Eric Bailly.”

Since joining United from Palace in 2019, Wan-Bissaka, who has two years left on his deal at Old Trafford, has featured in 126 matches, in all competitions, directly contributing to just 12 goals in the process.
