(Video) Donny van de Beek scores first Everton goal vs Arsenal

Manchester United are losing at half-time to Crystal Palace, with incoming manager Erik ten Hag in attendance to watch his future side before being unveiled tomorrow.

Thus far, there hasn’t been too much to smile about for Ten Hag but one Manchester United player has scored a goal, with Donny van de Beek netting his first for Everton at Arsenal.

Everton secured safety in the Premier League in dramatic fashion earlier this week, coming back from two goals down to win against Crystal Palace.

That game was Van de Beek’s first game back in the matchday squad for several weeks, having been on the sidelines with a muscle injury.

Arsenal, who are chasing a top-four finish, took a 2-0 lead but were pegged back towards the end of the half, with Van de Beek timing a run perfectly to latch onto Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s pass, as seen above.

Van de Beek is expected to return to Manchester United this summer and will be assessed by Ten Hag before any decision on his future is made.
