(Video) Man Utd steward makes perfect tackle to stop pitch invader

It’s been a fantastic week for Manchester United’s youth set-up, with the U18’s clinching the FA Youth Cup title for a record 12th time following their 3-1 win over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford.

Two goals from Alejandro Garnacho was enough to take home the prize for United in front of a sold-out Old Trafford – the biggest crowd at a sporting event in England this week.

The referee’s full-time whistle was accompanied by euphoria from the crowd but one fan got a little too excited and decided to rush the pitch as the players celebrated their triumph.

He was quickly stopped in his tracks, however, with one steward chanelling his inner Nemanja Matic to take the ill-advised supporter out, allowing another worker to catch up.

In the clip, some of the United youngsters can be seen spectating the debacle and even they must be impressed by the perfectly timed tackle.
