(Video) Sam Kerr scores wondergoal as Chelsea women clinch WSL title against Manchester United

Chelsea came from behind twice against Manchester United to hold off Arsenal’s WSL title challenge.

The Blues secured a third consecutive Women’s Super League championship by beating Manchester United 4-2 this afternoon.

To make matters worse, the result meant that Manchester United Women’s team miss out on a place in the Champions League.

You would think that next season our main objective will be qualifying for Europe’s biggest competition and it will help that the club are planning to invest more money in the women’s transfer market.

Arsenal knew they could snatch the title on the final day of the season if they achieved a better result against West Ham, but Chelsea got the job done against the Reds, with the gap clear to see in the second half.

Sam Kerr scored two of Chelsea’s four goals but the pick of the punch will grab the headlines.
