(Video) Patrice Evra already told Micah Richards Man City wouldn’t win Champions League

Real Madrid made an unbelievable comeback to knock Manchester City out of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals last night.

It’s been a week of misery for Manchester United fans, who have stood through a long five years without seeing their team lift a trophy, while Liverpool kept their quadruple hopes alive by qualifying for the Champions League final.

But at least there was a positive to follow – Manchester City won’t be joining them in Paris.

Pep Guardiola’s side had the lead going into the second leg after winning 3-2 at the Etihad. They threw the first punch, by opening the scoring through Riyad Mahrez after 73 minutes.

Real Madrid scored two goals in stoppage time to force extra time when a Karim Benzema penalty separated the sides once more. This time is proved crucial.

After the match, a funny video went viral on Twitter of Patrice Evra making fun of City. It’s an old clip but the punchline remains because they’ve never won the Champions League despite spending all that money since the takeover.

Former City defender Micah Richards recorded a video of Evra saying: “Come on United! Fantastic stadium, but you will never win the Champions League!”
