It doesn’t make sense.
Manchester United fans have been crying out for new ownership for 17-years since the Glazers inflicted a debt-ridden takeover of our club.
Then, after sanctions were imposed on Roman Abramovich, forcing the Russian businessman to move out of Stamford Bridge, we see the most wealthy Manchester United fan in the UK offer to be their saviour with a bid worth more than £4 billion (via The Times).

Is there any logic in that? Maybe you businessmen see it, but not me, the ordinary football fan.
It was recently announced that Todd Boehly’s group were named as the preferred bidder for Chelsea, and their fans were led to believe that was as good as a done deal now, as per chelsea-news.co.
But Sir Jim Ratcliffe has other ideas after making his last ditch offer last week.
According to a report from The Athletic today, Ratcliffe is still pushing to buy the club and he aims to meet with various Chelsea stakeholders and supporter groups this week.
It sounds like Ratcliffe is still in with a chance of buying Chelsea, but can he not see the big elephant in the room? I mean, United fans are holding another ant-Glazer protest ahead of tonight’s game against Brentford.
Come on, Jim. What are you thinking?
