Another disappointing result for Manchester United.
The Reds were poor defensively against Arsenal, but we had enough chances to take something from the game. A draw wouldn’t have been enough, and we are now completely out of the race for top four.
United showed a little bit more than they did in the midweek loss at Liverpool. Ultimately, it wasn’t enough and matters were made more complicated by an inadequate referee.
After the full-time whistle, Scott McTominay spoke to BT Sport from the heart. It is clear from the video below that the Scotland international is feel dejected after a run of poor results.
“When we get back in the dressing room it’s go home and take a look at yourself in the mirror,” McTominay said.
“You can’t go back to your house and be satisfied.”

As fans, we’ve heard it all before — on repeat this season — but this is genuine from McTominay.
He looks devastated.
