Marcus Rashford announces release date for his first children’s fiction book

Marcus Rashford has announced that he will be releasing his first children’s fiction book ‘The Breakfast Club Adventures: The Beast Beyond the Fence.’

The book will be released on May 26, but it is already available to pre-order.

In 2020, Rashford launched a book club with the aim of giving children the opportunity to embrace reading from an early age.

The Manchester United and England star is working with Macmillan Children’s Books (MCB) to promote reading and literacy among children from all backgrounds, and he took to Twitter this afternoon to announce his latest book.

“Excited to reveal the cover of my first children’s fiction book ‘The Breakfast Club Adventures: The Beast Beyond the Fence’, written with Alex False-Koya and illustrated by Marta Kiss.

“Breakfast Club had a huge impact on my life and I wanted to be able to instil important life values through adventure based in the Breakfast Club space where I learnt a lot about myself and those around me. I can’t wait to see how children react to the mystery of this one.”

Rashford already released one book called ‘You are a Champion’ which proved to be quite successful last year.

Marcus needs to decide if he wants to be an author, politician or even a footballer. His performances on the pitch, suggests he has possibly given up on the latter.
