Barcelona and Liverpool register interest in Marcus Rashford

Following reports about Marcus Rashford’s future two weeks ago, Barcelona and Liverpool have been in contact with the Manchester United player’s representatives.

Marcus Rashford is going through a dire run of form at the moment, but I strongly believe no Manchester United fan would want him signing for Liverpool.

It was reported two weeks ago that Rashford would consider his future at the club after he was benched for the Manchester derby defeat on March 6.

To make matters worse, Rashford has been left out of the England squad for the upcoming internationals, although it might do him good to get some time away from football.

Rashford clashed with a fan outside Old Trafford on Tuesday night following the Champions League exit. This was not something you would usually associate with the national treasure, but it was clear from his written apology that the academy graduate is feeling the constant criticism sent his way.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Rashford does not want to leave United but Barcelona wasted little time after hearing he was considering his future by touching base with the player’s entourage to confirm their interest.

On top of that, Liverpool have made it known they are admirers of Rashford.

Yes, you read that right.

United are almost certain to refuse to sanction a move to Liverpool and if Rashford is who we think he is, there’s no way he would switch Old Trafford for Anfield.
