Alex Telles and Fred have become the latest members of Manchester United’s squad to test positive for COVID-19 as preparations for our trip to Burnley are affected.
Both players have been favoured by Ralf Rangnick since the German took charge, so this news will come as a blow to the side ahead of tomorrow night’s match.
This is likely to mean Luke Shaw will start at left-back, while Paul Pogba keeps his place in midfield for a second consecutive match.
The Frenchman had not played in a competitive fixture since November before Friday night’s defeat against Boro, and he looked leggy after 60 minutes before coming off.

Telles has been excellent at left-back since fighting his way into the team under Rangnick, as it finally looks like United have two full-backs who can get forward again. It goes without saying at this stage that Diogo Dalot has been a huge improvement over Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
More news when we get it but hopefully Fred and Telles can recover soon.
