VAR deemed the handball accidental, but would a defender get the same benefit of doubt in the same situation?
It was a terrible decision from referee Anthony Taylor, with the help of VAR, before the handball tee’d the Boro player up for an assist.
He was inside the box too, so it was destined to be a goalscoring opportunity for Boro.
I thought the Boro players were over-doing-it with their celebration but the goal stood!

I’m still in disbelief over the decision, but United had more than enough chances to put their tie to bed. You can see clearly that it hits his hand and, accidental or not, it’s a joke that the goal stood.
You’d wonder what Ralf Rangnick must be thinking right now.
