In the eighth minute of this evening’s Premier League tie between Manchester United and Burnley, some hustle and bustle from Mason Greenwood kept a play alive for the Red Devils.
After seeing a shot blocked, Greenwood recovered the ball and shuffled around the crowded box before picking out Cristiano Ronaldo with a tidy pass.
Unfortunately, Ronaldo still hadn’t shaken off the cobwebs from his miss just minutes earlier as a heavy touch saw the ball roll away, thankfully, Scott McTominay was on hand to sweep things up though.
McTominay was on hand to curl the ball into the back of the net with a lovely first-time side-foot finish from the edge of the area.

The early goal has well and truly thrown Burnley off and it’s a great chance for United to be relentless with their intent and pressure to put this tie to bed early on.
