Ralf Rangnick has been given a fitness boost ahead of Manchester United’s final Champions League Group F match against Young Boys, with several players returning to first-team training from injuries.
The biggest names on the return list are Edinson Cavani and Raphael Varane. The latter has missed the last six games, whereas the Uruguayan striker has made just five appearances this season.
It’s unlikely that either of the pair will be rushed back into action, but I would like to think the Frenchman will be available for the league game against Norwich City at the weekend.
Jesse Lingard missed the win over Crystal Palace on Sunday but is available again after recovering from a knock to the ankle.

Rangnick will be delighted to have more options available.
According to ManUtd.com, Luke Shaw was also seen training on Tuesday morning, so we could see him against Young Boys after recovering from a series of concussion injuries.
Alex Telles impressed against Palace and this game may be an opportunity for Shaw to prove his worth to the new manager.
