Preview: Manchester United vs Young Boys

Manchester United will be looking to make it three wins in a row when they take on Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League group stages at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

The Reds go into the game sitting top of Group F with 10 points and a spot in the last 16 secure, whilst Young Boys are rock bottom of the group on four points — in need of a win to stand any chance of finishing third for a place in the Europa League.

With qualification to the last 16 sealed, new head coach Ralf Rangnick is widely expected to make a host of changes to his starting eleven to face the Swiss side with Donny Van De Beek and Mason Greenwood likely to feature.

After what has been a tough few months or so at Old Trafford, a corner feels as though it has been turned following the victories over Arsenal and Crystal Palace. It feels that with Rangnick now at the helm United are heading back in the right direction.

Facing Young Boys provides Ralf’s Reds another chance to keep the winning momentum going.

The Swiss side are more than a match for anyone at home but away from home they do not hold the same threat and with United now back on form you’d expect nothing more than a Reds victory.

Having already lost to Young Boys earlier in the season, United will go into the game as heavy favourites.

Prediction: Manchester United 4-1 Young Boys
