(Video) Chesterfield mock Paul Scholes with toe-biting celebration after FA Cup win at Salford

Paul Scholes became a trending Twitter topic in October after his 20-year-old daughter Alicia shared a video of him biting her toenails.

“True love,” she described it via Instagram followed by a clip that showed her foot in her father’s mouth.

The masses on social media captured the footage before it expired from the social network.

But Chesterfield made fun of the toenailing-biting situation on Saturday as they knocked Salford City out of the FA Cup in the second-round.

Liam Mandeville’s strike in the 28th minute put the visitors ahead before the goalscorer urged his team-mates to join him for a hilarious celebration. As one player dropped to the floor, Mandeville picked up his foot and pretended to chew on the top of the boot.

Check out the footage below:

Chesterfield then made matters worse for Salford when James Kellermann’s effort sealed a 2-0 win at Moor Lane.
