The latest defeat at home to Liverpool, a five-goal thumping, was particularly embarrassing as United’s bitter rivals left Old Trafford with a comprehensive and deserved victory.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were taken apart by Liverpool, who completely humiliated United despite never going past third gear in the 90-minute affair.
