A fantastic night for Manchester United Women’s star Ella Toone.
The England forward scored her first ever hat-trick on the international stage as the Lionesses defeated Latvia 10-0 in the Women’s World Cup qualifying stages.
Toone has played incredibly well for United this season, although Marc Skinner’s side have struggled this season, and sit fourth on 10 points after five matches. It hasn’t all been doom and gloom for her, though, with the Lionesses doing superbly in their bid to compete at the next World Cup.
It’s not a surprise as England will undoubtedly be among the favourites to win the World Cup outright.
Toone has scored three goals and registered four assists for the Reds this season and appears to have continued his form in an English shirt.
