Manchester United’s unbeaten run away from home has come to an end as they succumbed to an embarrassing defeat at the hands of Leicester on Saturday afternoon.
The home side were far from impressive, which says a lot about the outing from Manchester United. Mason Greenwood gave United the lead in the first half but a fightback from Brendan Rodgers’ side secured the three points.
Nemanja Matic, who was handed a rare start in the encounter, has delivered his verdict on the game, admitting that “everyone is sad” after the ordeal.
The former Serbia international endured a tough afternoon at the King Power Stadium and will be looking forward to the next game against Atalanta.

“Of course we are disappointed,” he told Manchester United media, as seen above. “Everyone is sad, everyone is a bit head down at the moment. But when you play for Man United, if you don’t win the game, of course, you are disappointed.
“But we have to stick together, it’s time to stick together. To analyse this game as soon as possible, then to think about the next one which is in three, four days against a very good side, Atalanta.”
