West Ham fans were gutted at half-time after seeing veteran Mark Noble come off the bench to take a last-minute penalty only to miss after a brilliant save from David de Gea.
Just minutes prior to that, Jesse Lingard struck for gold and found the back of the net as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer proved he knows a thing or two about substitutions, despite what you may read across social media.
All of this led to, as per a video on social media and as reported by the Manchester Evening News, a section of West Ham fans hurling abuse at Paul Pogba following the game.
The Frenchman didn’t do anything to annoy these fans during the game – but they decided to vent their anger towards him of all people.
Thankfully, as you can see from the video below, Pogba took it all light-heartedly and laughed it off. For a moment he stood in front of the tunnel smiling and spreading his arms out.

The MEN claims this incident led to Michael Carrick ushering Pogba down the tunnel:
“Paul Pogba was ushered down the London Stadium tunnel by Michael Carrick on Sunday afternoon amid abuse directed at him by irate West Ham supporters.”
Pogba burst their bubble.
