(Video) Jesse Lingard comes back to haunt West Ham with 89th minute screamer

Manchester United are back in action again after the disappointing defeat to Young Boys in the Champions League. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were heavy favourites in the game but succumbed to a surprising defeat.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave United the lead after just 13 minutes but after Aaron Wan-Bissaka was sent off for a poor challenge, the Swiss side turned it around in the second half to steal all three points.

The affair at the London Stadium was cagey and when Said Benrahma’s opener in the first half deflected off of Raphael Varane, it looked like United could be in for a troubling afternoon.

Cristiano Ronaldo evened the scores later in the first half, with Solskjaer’s side upping the tempo significantly after going a goal behind. The second half was not as eventful as the first but Jesse Lingard’s late screamer, as seen above,

Lingard’s breathtaking strike was enough for United to steal all three points as David de Gea saved a last-minute penalty from Mark Noble.
