David de Gea saves the day!
For all the criticism David de Gea received after the penalty shootout in the Europa League final in May, the Spaniard stood tall when Mark Noble took a spot kick in the very last minute to equalise.
The game had no shortage of drama with Cristiano Ronaldo denied at least two stonewall penalties, so it came as a blow that West Ham were given a chance to level things at the very end.
I don’t think many United fans thought De Gea would stop Noble’s effort, but he did and his team-mates made sure to thank him for the three points at full-time.

The save should boost De Gea’s confidence but the win itself was a big one.
