Best known for his ability to see out danger, Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka has earned himself some more high praise – this time coming from Arsenal’s Nicolas Pepe.
Pepe, 26, joined the Gunners in a multi-million-pound move in 2019.
Since his arrival at the Emirates from Lille, the 26-year-old has gone on to feature in 93 matches, in all competitions, directly contributing to 42 goals, along the way.
Despite facing a host of world-class talent week in, week out, it has been United’s first-choice right-back who the Arsenal man has named as his toughest domestic opponent.
Speaking exclusively to Amazon Prime Video, when asked which player has been the toughest, Pepe acknowledged how well-rounded Wan-Bissaka is.
“I really enjoy watching him play,” the Ivorian attacker said. “I would say Wan-Bissaka. I think he is very strong in both areas.”
