Manchester United predicted XI vs West Ham: Varane and Greenwood to return to line-up

Raphael Varane and Mason Greenwood are both expected to return to the Manchester United line-up as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side take on West Ham on Sunday.

They were both left out of the starting line-up for the 2-1 Champions League defeat away to Young Boys on Tuesday night. Greenwood was given the night off as Varane came on as a half-time substitute to replace Donny van de Beek after Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s dismissal.

Speaking of Van de Beek, I think he’s one who will drop out for this match, although he could start against the Hammers on Wednesday night in the League Cup. Edinson Cavani is also expected to return for that cup match.

Stretty News’ predicted Manchester United line-up: (4-2-3-1) De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Varane, Shaw; Matic, Pogba; Sancho, Fernandes, Greenwood; Cristiano Ronaldo.

So far this season, West Ham have lined-up the exact same way for every Premier League match. A basic 4-2-3-1 but they will be without Michail Antonio this time around due to suspension.

They could line-up like this: (3-4-1-2) Fabianski; Ogbonna, Dawson, Zouma; Cresswell, Coufal; Soucek, Rice; Fornals; Benrahma, Bowen.

Let us know in the comments section how you think Solskjaer will line-up for this one.
