Pictures: Cristiano Ronaldo signs Manchester United contract

Manchester United have continued their teasing campaign as plenty more content based around Cristiano Ronaldo is being pushed out. The 36-year-old completed a sensational return to the club on deadline day last week and has now been pictured signing his contract.

Earlier today, Manchester United released a video of the superstar forward walking out at Old Trafford in his iconic number seven jersey. Now, additional images have been shared as he is pictured signing his contract alongside manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as seen below.

Ronaldo, who became the all-time leading goalscorer in men’s international football last week, could make his second debut for Manchester United this weekend as Solskjaer’s side welcomes Newcastle to Old Trafford.

In an interview published earlier on Thursday, Ronaldo joked he would be putting pressure on Solskjaer in order to earn a greater chance of being named in the starting eleven.

The encounter with Newcastle is set to be a worldwide spectacle but it will not be broadcasted in the UK as it’s set to take place during the 3 PM blackout, a rule which prohibits live football at a specific time.
