Marcus Rashford played for the majority of last season with a shoulder injury but the problem was managed throughout the campaign. The injury is believed to have been sustained in November 2020.
The bothersome shoulder is said to have inhibited Rashford’s mobility and when he sustained an ankle injury in March, his troubles were compounded.
The 23-year-old continued to play, however, but often missed out on vital training sessions with the rest of them. A decision was made to delay surgery until after this summer’s European Championship.

Rashford returned from holiday late in July before undergoing a procedure earlier this month – the Wythenshawe-born forward has now provided an update on his progress, as seen above.
Manchester United will feel little need to rush Rashford back from the injury but with over 20 goals scored in both of the last two seasons, Solskjaer will be keen to have his star winger back as soon as possible.
