David Moyes and Jesse Lingard meet to discuss potential late move

Following Manchester United’s 1-0 win on Sunday over Wolves, according to recent reports, West Ham United manager David Moyes met up with midfielder Jesse Lingard to discuss a possible late transfer.

That’s according to a recent report from West Ham United focused outlet Claret and Hugh, who claims the Hammers’ manager is still keen to re-sign Lingard, despite so far failing to reach an agreement with the player’s employers.

West Ham United are also understood to be close to signing CSKA Moscow star Nikola Vlasic, however, given their admiration for Lingard, it has not been ruled out that the Londoners could in fact bring in both players.

Lingard didn’t feature for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during their weekend win away at Molineux and Moyes appears set to capitalise.

Claret and Hugh claim that Lingard still owns a flat in London, believed to be in the same block as Moyes with the pair understood to have met up on Sunday night.

It is still unclear at this stage whether or not the Red Devils will agree to a loan move or a permanent move, however, one thing is for sure, still with 24 hours left until this summer’s transfer window closes, the Lingard saga looks set to go the distance.
