Cristiano Ronaldo ‘offered’ to Man Utd, agreement with Man City ‘almost found’

The biggest headline of this week is the future of former Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo. The Juventus star, after three years with the Italian giants, is reportedly seeking a move away from the club.

His desire to leave Juventus is yet to be confirmed but according to journalist and transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Ronaldo’s agent is ‘talking directly’ to Manchester City over contractual details.

Now, Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, as seen above, is claiming that an agreement with Manchester City is ‘almost found’, as a deal appears to be edging ever closer.

Aouna also claims that Ronaldo ‘has been offered’ to Manchester United but does not detail the proposal, or say whether Manchester United rejected the opportunity to bring the forward back to Old Trafford.

Ronaldo’s potential move to United’s rivals will upset many supporters and should the deal go through, he is likely to receive a very hostile reception in his first Manchester derby back in the Premier League.
